1. 2d Animation
This medium is done in two dimensional graphics using 24 per frames. You can use to make works like that of Disney movies of TV series from cartoon network
2. 3d Animation
It is a medium that is less flat than 2d animation and you can do cool stuff in that medium like make your own models. These models can be manipulated to make cool movements.
3. Motion graphics
In this medium use shapes, logos or text to make videos or digital content involving motion.
4. Stop motion
A medium where you photograph physical objects multiple times, to create the illusion of motion. Some types of stop motion are clay motion which involves the use of clay, object animation involves using real life objects, cutout animation that involves flat material like paper, pixilation where you can use real people or puppet animation using puppets
5. Traditional
Wanna go old school? Then start hand drawing individual frames, as each frame builds up to make its own movement.
6. Motion Capture
Use movements of a real life actor, and apply those types of movement to a fictional 2d or 3d character. Then that relationship will create a realistic animation.
